Hello, I’m Pei-Chen from Taiwan. I’m currently studying Visual Arts and Design at National University of Tainan. I grew up in a Chinese-speaking environment, and Chinese is my native language. I enjoy spending time with children, and I also love getting to know different people and cultures through language, art, and everyday life. I have taught art at two different art studios, working as the main teacher for students preparing for art school entrance exams and as an assistant teacher for children’s classes. I have also worked as an art teacher for elective courses for junior and senior high school students at an international experimental school. In my free time, I have also worked as a private art tutor for students of different ages. I can accompany children, support their learning, and share my experiences growing up in Taiwan and my culture, as well as the art skills I have been developing. As a native Chinese speaker, I can help children naturally experience Chinese through everyday conversations. With my background in art, I can also spend time with them drawing, making crafts, and doing different creative activities. I hope language and cultural learning can become part of everyday life rather than something that only happens at a desk. I am responsible and willing to communicate.
