History, Politics
I am a Cambridge graduate, former Teaching Fellow at King's College London and published academic author with over a decade of experience providing bespoke private tuition. I specialise in History, Politics, International Relations, Middle Eastern Studies and conversational Israeli Hebrew, supporting students from GCSE and A Level through to undergraduate and postgraduate study. My teaching style is engaging, intellectually stimulating and highly personalised. I believe the best lessons encourage students to question assumptions, explore different perspectives and develop the confidence to think independently. I place particular emphasis on critical analysis, persuasive essay writing, examination technique and building a thorough understanding of the subject rather than simply memorising information. I work particularly well with curious, ambitious students who enjoy exploring ideas, as well as those who need encouragement, greater confidence or a more structured approach to their studies. Whether preparing for important examinations, working towards university admission or studying purely for intellectual enjoyment, my aim is to make learning both challenging and rewarding. Students I have taught have progressed to leading British universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL and King's College London. I offer friendly, professional and academically rigorous one-to-one online tuition, tailored to each student's individual goals and aspirations.
