I am an experienced and committed educator most recently working as Head of the EAL Department at a secondary academy in Essex. I hold a current, Enhanced DBS certificate. I am passionate about supporting young people who face barriers to learning and enabling them to achieve their potential through high-quality teaching, inclusive practice, and strong pastoral support. As EAL lead, I was responsible for the planning and delivery of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for EAL students. This included developing Schemes of Work, preparing engaging and differentiated lessons, assessing student progress and providing targeted feedback to support improvement.
